Through my lens, I seek to capture not just moments, but the emotions, stories, and intricate beauty of human interaction. My work is deeply inspired by the human mind, the flow of energy, and the dynamic interplay of shapes and connections that define our shared experiences.
I strive to capture the emotional connection between people, objects, and the world around them. How we interact, connect, and leave imprints on one another. Light and shadow are my tools for shaping mood and meaning, crafting photographs that feel both intimate and expansive. Every frame reflects my belief that photography is more than a visual art. It’s a window into the unseen, a way of translating energy and emotion into something tangible.
While I deeply appreciate capturing the depth of human experiences, I also love breaking conventions. Photography, to me, is about pushing boundaries, presenting unexpected perspectives, and creating something truly unique and thought-provoking.
Beyond my work, I believe my journey has shaped me into the photographer I am today. Born and raised in Korea, I later moved to Australia, where I spent two decades immersing myself in new experiences and challenges. Recently, I relocated to Berlin, drawn by its creative pulse and endless opportunities for growth.
My path to photography has been anything but conventional. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats.Secret agent, hairdresser, golf teacher, salesperson, interpreter, personal trainer, and even cleaning business owner. Each role taught me something new, broadening my perspective and sharpening my ability to adapt. These varied experiences have equipped me with a unique lens to view the world and an unshakeable ability to thrive in any environment.
I’m a fast learner, a relentless hard worker, and someone who approaches every challenge with passion and dedication. Photography is my calling, and it’s the culmination of a lifetime of exploration, curiosity, and a deep desire to connect with the world around me.
